School Year '24-'25

At Girls Inc., we believe in the rights and abilities of every girl. We aim to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to thrive. Our Girls Inc. Experience, built around three central elements of People, Programs, and Environment, equips girls to navigate barriers (gender, social, economic, etc.) and grow into healthy, educated, independent adults.

Delivery of programs is based on two components: sustained engagement and targeted support. We understand that long-term exposure to our programs has a proven positive impact on participants' lives, so we focus on providing consistent and ongoing support. We also tailor our services to meet the diverse needs of the families and communities we serve, paying attention to demographics, program group size, and consistent participation, using intentional, interactive, and researched-informed curriculum.

Girls Inc. strong, smart, and bold, programming is designed to:

  • Eliminate risky behaviors, particularly those that affect marginalized communities more than other communities.
  • Promote mental and physical health by providing resources that encourage physical activity, healthy habits, mental health awareness, and confidence.
  • Enhance educational success, helping girls set and achieve personal and career goals, with a focus on keeping them on track for high school and post-secondary education.
